i officially hate spiders

well its beginning to look a lot like christmas? well africa style, which means nothings changed at all because the weather isn't cold and noone decorates from lack of money, but christmas is 3 days away...

its 3 days away, and i'm being a baby about a stupid spider bite that is a week old. well i guess i have a right to be a baby since my whole arm got infected and by the time i made it to my doctor they measured the infection and it was 12 cm x 6 cm (approx 6 in by 3 inches) pretty much my whole under-forearm was infected. they put me on antibiotics and painkillers since i was going on vacation and couldnt be under any sort of medical watch. i was told to use hot compresses a few times a day and be consistent with my meds. when the bite forms a head i was told to pop it and drain all the goodies out of my arm...well that happened yesterday and it was fabulously gross. chunks of things were coming out (from the venom and infection) but its pretty much done. i think by today the rest will come out (it is still oozing. hopefully people wont laugh at me when i paint cermaics today with a huge bandange on my arm, but if they do, i wont understand them anyway...

so i'm mentally preparing for christmas (well the strangest christmas i will probably ever have)...ive realized this is my first christmas away from home, which is sad...no ravs, no helping in the kitchen, no fighting over who has to do the dishes (even though my aunt always ends up doing it somehow)...its kinda sad...i didnt even decorate a christmas tree. :( i hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and all. i miss you all most this time of year...(i have even been wishing i could go to NYC since its december and i always go in december...oh well) thank you all for your kind messages and well wishes. have a merry christmas, happy hanukkah, and a great new year. i love you all! until next time...
